Before I began writing my book, I worked as a professional screenwriter and script consultant for seven years. I've, now, stepped away from writing my own screenplays, but still love working with other people on their stories; be that scripts (TV & film), books, short stories, personal statements, CVs, websites—anything where there is a story.

I’ve been a script editor on feature films, working closely with directors / writers to see how the story can align with their vision.

I’ve story consulted, edited, and been in writers’ rooms for production companies who need help clarifying a story.

I’ve worked on commissions from BBC Studios, Lookout Point, Raw, Channel 4, Studio Pictures Ltd, Open Book and Ronan Bennett’s Easter Partisan. I co-wrote, co-produced and directed a short film, which was shortlisted for the Film4-supported Iris Prize for Best Short (2021), was picked as one of the top 5 short films to watch at BFI Flare festival (2021), and was screened at the BAFTA-qualifying London Short Film Festival (2021).
